Each year San Joaquin County Science and Engineering Fair (SJCSEF) awards thousands of dollars to students of San Joaquin County who exhibit superior levels of understanding and articulation in the area of science, engineering, technology and mathematics. Top students proceed to the California State Science Fair held each year in Los Angeles.
Our mission is to engage and inspire students to become interested in pursuing science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

All participating schools need to register.
Opens: Sep. 11, 2017 Closes: Jan. 26, 2018
Student registration (completed by sponsoring school)
Opens: Jan. 17, 2018 Closes: Feb. 19, 2018
Student registration is completed by the sponsoring school.
Emails will be sent to registered schools with the necessary links before Jan. 17, 2018.

Who Can Enter
The SJCSEF is open to K - 12 students who attend school in San Joaquin County and have a teacher or qualified adult sponsor.
The SJCSEF is intended as a secondary fair. Schools in our county should hold independent Science Fairs before submitting projects to SJCSEF.
The SJCSEF is a qualifying fair for the California State Science Fair.
